FELICITATION TO DR MALANI FONSEKA MP
On 31st December 2010 RealityUK presented Dr Malani Fonseka's London
Felicitation for her invaluable contributions made to Cinema and Arts in Sri
Lanka attracting national and international fame with recognition to the
Country on 52 years of achievements in films & performing arts.
The event featured the screening of Akasa Kusum (Flowers of the Sky)
followed by traditional Pooja Dancing by Midlands Sarasi Academy,
documentary on Dr Malani Fonseka presented by Jackson Anthony, dance by
Senali Fonseka, speech by Justice Nihal Jayasingha (High Commissioner) and a
song sung by the Fonseka family.
The superstars that graced the occasion were Keerthi Pasquel, his band The
Super Fortunes, and Jackson Anthony. We were glided through the occasion
with Vimukthi Mahindarathna & Shanuka Shasthri. Midlands Sarasi Academy
danced elegantly to Keerthi Pasquel's songs while mesmerising the crowd.
